About us
The Community for Business Development and Promotion Society (COBDEPS) was established in 2003 and is registered with the District Administration Office, Nuwakot. It is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council of Nepal.
With more than two decades of experience, COBDEPS has carried out development and recovery programmes in Nuwakot and adjoining districts, reaching more than 15,000 direct beneficiaries. Our work covers livelihood recovery, enterprise development, agriculture, vocational skills, community mobilization, infrastructure rehabilitation, disaster risk reduction and women's empowerment.
To be a recognized and capable organization contributing to climate-resilient, inclusive, and sustainable community development.
To enable vulnerable individuals and communities to build resilient livelihoods and sustainable economic opportunities through enterprise development, skills development, climate-smart practices, disaster risk reduction, rehabilitation, and equitable access to resources and services.
To strengthen the resilience and adaptive capacity of vulnerable communities affected by climate change, natural hazards, disasters, and livelihood disruptions, while promoting inclusive and sustainable recovery.
